  1. Analytics by Key, not Origin

    Firstly, thank you for building maptiler - I love the logo(!) and it's just what I was looking for as an alternative to Google Maps.

    Our application is used across 1500 subdomains (and counting), so seeing the map usage by origin isn't very helpful for us. What I'd really like to be able to see is the usage/analytics by key as that would really help me understand where maps are being loaded within the different parts of our application.

  2. Improve lat/long support.

    Hi,
    I have a chart that I need to geo-reference.
    I can use the 'select references' and use 'ground landmarks' to geo-reference my map to your provided
    reference maps.
    Since my chart has lat/long lines depicted on the map, using these intersection points would provide the best geo-referencing.
    However, none of your 'base' reference maps depict lat/long lines that would allow this.
    So, my suggestion is;
    1) Have a 'base reference' map that is lat/long (only?), or can enable/disable lat/long on an existing base reference map.

    2) Superduper bonus would be able to analyze the provided map, and auto geo-reference…

  3. Question on updated openmaptiles-server

    I read in the stack overflow post below that a server is in BETA (or maybe has been constructed) that can use mbtiles that are not downloaded from OpenMapTiles.com (basically the user can use his or her own mbtiles).

    Has this new MapTiler Server been released. If it hasn't can I become an early adapter?

  4. Accept tile coordinates as location reference

    I create overlays by capturing Google map tiles. I then have great difficulty getting adjacent overlays to match correctly. The best way I have found so far is to take MapTiler's raster tiles option and then rename the output folders/files to the correct zoom, x and y values.

    It would therefore be very useful to identify the georeference of an input file by giving its zoom, x and y values.

  5. Step by step instructions for putting maps into Foreflight

    Foreflight is the aviation worlds most popular app and it would be very helpful to learn how to upload maps into Foreflight on Ipads for use while flying.

  7. Provide free Sample Code for Mapbox SDK

    Currently, I cannot find a sample code on how to use Maptiler cloud with the Mapbox SDK for Java or iOS. The only option to find a simple is to buy the source code of the demo app for about 500 USD.

  8. Fix the registration key issue please

    We all change our PC's etc at some stage. So why do we have to contact the devs every time we change one? Why can we not disable our own serial and then activate it again on a different machine instead of having to go through the whole 1980's process of contacting Maptiler and asking nicely if they will kindly disable it and allow us to use it on a different machine... Is there no way to make this easier?

  9. Desktop: Provide a unified license manager portal for managing MapTiler subscriptions

    It would be so much easier if there was a portal where we could manage all the licenses for our organization and have the ability to update the billing email addresses on an ongoing basis. Currently, we have to contact KlokanTech support every time an employee leaves so that the maintenance reminder emails are not sent to his non-functional email address. Also, remembering whose email address correspond to which license-key is a pain!

    This is just not a workable solution.

  10. Upload dataset from GeoJSON file - NodeJS

    It would be awesome to have a Node library to allow a dataset upload from a GeoJSON file. Similar to mapbox-upload.

  12. More pricing options

    I need all the options of the pro level of MapTiler but for more of a personal use.
    I would render maps for a small group of volunteers non profit and then only occasionally use the service. It much to costly for the small guy who doesn’t have a business and is not doing anything public on the Internet.

  13. Add Traditional vs Simplified Chinese Language Option

    Currently we can adapt the language on previous OSM map tiles to Chinese, but it does not allow for selection of traditional vs simplified. OSM has data for both languages, so it would be helpful to make this more easily accessible.

  16. Change of tile name rule

    Now MapTilerPro has the output tile rule
    It is {z}, {x}, {y}.
    We want the tiles we output in {z], {y}, {x}.
    Please add tile rule change to option.

  18. Support MRF format for input files

    We have recently been using MRF format for compressing our imagery by up to 90%. It will make my life so much easier if MapTiler could directly ingest this format for caching.

  20. Allow queuing of caching jobs

    Having a queue available for caching jobs will make sure the license is not sitting idle once the current job finishes (especially useful for large jobs)
